- Do not touch the glass on a new bulb with bare fingers; oil can shorten bulb life.
- Support the headlamp assembly so it does not drop or scratch the bumper.
- Disconnect the negative battery cable if you want to avoid any chance of a short while unplugging the lamp.

🔨 Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Open the hood and access the headlamp
- Open the hood and locate the top fasteners for the headlamp assembly.
- Use a 10mm socket and ratchet to remove the upper headlamp bolts.
- If equipped with any trim retainers near the lamp, use a trim panel tool to release them gently.
- Keep the bolts organized.
Step 2: Remove the headlamp assembly
- Pull the headlamp assembly forward carefully until you can reach the bulb sockets.
- Use your hand to support the assembly while working.
- If it feels stuck, wiggle it lightly rather than forcing it.

- Rotate the socket counterclockwise by hand to unlock it.
- Pull the socket straight out of the housing.
Step 4: Replace the bulb

- Install the new bulb into the socket and make sure it seats fully.
- Do not touch the glass on the new bulb with bare fingers.
Step 5: Reinstall the socket and headlamp
- Insert the bulb socket back into the headlamp housing.
- Rotate it clockwise by hand until it locks.
- Set the headlamp assembly back into place.
- Reinstall the upper bolts with a 10mm socket and ratchet.
- Torque to 4.5 Nm (40 in-lbs).
Step 6: Test the new bulb
- Turn the ignition on and activate the turn signal.
- Check that the front bulb flashes normally.
- Confirm the bulb is seated correctly and the lens is secure.
