🔨 Step-by-Step Instructions

Follow these steps in order:

Step 1: Lift and secure the front end

• Use the 19mm socket and breaker bar to loosen the front lug nuts one turn each.
• Lift the front of the Tacoma with the floor jack (rated 3-ton minimum).
• Place it securely on jack stands (rated 3-ton minimum).
• Remove the wheel nuts and wheel.

Step 2: Remove the brake caliper

• Use the 14mm socket and ratchet to remove the two caliper slide pin bolts.
• Lift the caliper off the bracket.
• Hang the caliper with a wire hanger or bungee cord.

Step 3: Remove the old pads and hardware

• Slide the old brake pads out of the bracket.
