🔧 Highlander - Taillight Bulb Replacement
This job replaces the rear taillight bulbs on both sides. On your Highlander, the outer rear lamp assemblies are removed from inside the liftgate area, then the bulb sockets are twisted out and swapped.
Difficulty Level: Beginner | Estimated Time: 0.5-1 hour
⚠️ Safety & Precautions
- Turn the headlight switch off and let the bulbs cool before touching them.
- Use gloves so skin oils do not shorten bulb life.
- Support the lamp assembly with your hand when removing the retaining nuts so it does not drop.
- If your Highlander has LED rear lamps instead of replaceable bulbs, the full lamp assembly must be replaced.
