⚠️ Safety & Precautions
- ⚠️ Turn the exterior lights off before removing bulbs.
- ⚠️ Let the bulbs cool for a few minutes if the lights were recently on.
- ⚠️ Wear gloves or handle new bulbs by the plastic base when possible; skin oil can shorten bulb life.

Step 1: Open the Liftgate
- Use your hand to open the liftgate fully.
- Make sure the liftgate stays fully raised before working near the taillights.

- Do not twist the housing sideways.
- The outer side is held by guide pins, which are small plastic alignment posts that snap into the body.

Step 5: Remove the Old Taillight Bulb
- Use your gloved hand to turn the taillight bulb socket counterclockwise about a quarter turn.
- Pull the socket out of the taillight housing.
