🔧 Taillight Bulbs - Bulb Replacement
Replacing both rear taillight bulbs on your Yaris is a simple job. You’ll access the bulbs from inside the cargo area, remove the bulb holder, swap the bulbs, and reinstall everything. Replace both sides at the same time so the light color and brightness match.
Difficulty Level: Beginner | Estimated Time: 0.5-1 hour
⚠️ Safety & Precautions
- Turn the lights off and let the bulbs cool before touching them.
- Use clean gloves or a clean cloth on the new bulbs. Finger oils can shorten bulb life.
- Do not use excessive force on the lens, tabs, or bulb socket.
- If the bulb housing is tight, do not pry hard against the painted panel.
- No battery disconnect is required for this repair.
