- Park on level ground and set the parking brake.
- Turn the ignition off and remove the key/fob from the vehicle.

🔨 Step-by-Step Instructions
Follow these steps in order:
Step 1: Open access to the rear of the headlamp
- Open the hood and locate the back side of each headlamp.
- If a plastic cover, intake duct, or air box piece blocks access, remove it using the Torx T25 screwdriver, 10mm socket, and 1/4-inch ratchet as needed.
- Set fasteners aside in order so they go back where they came from.
Step 2: Remove the old bulb
- Wear nitrile gloves before touching the bulb area.
- Disconnect the bulb connector if present.
- Release the bulb retaining clip or twist the bulb holder out by hand, depending on the lamp style.
- Pull the bulb straight out without forcing it.
- Do not twist hard on the connector.
Step 3: Install the new bulb
- Compare the new bulb to the old one to confirm it matches.
- Insert the new bulb in the same orientation as the old one.
- Secure the retaining clip or twist-lock holder back into place by hand.
- Reconnect the bulb connector firmly.
- Keep the glass clean.
Step 4: Reinstall access parts
- Reinstall any ducting, covers, or brackets removed earlier.
- Use the Torx T25 screwdriver and 10mm socket to reinstall fasteners.
- Tighten fasteners snugly by hand. Torque to factory snug spec for the removed trim and brackets.
Step 5: Test both lights
- Turn the ignition on and switch the low beams on.
- Check that both sides illuminate evenly.
- If one side does not light, recheck the connector and bulb seating.
