🔨 Step-by-Step Instructions
Follow these steps in order:
Step 1: Access the back of the headlamp
- Open the hood.
- Use a 10mm socket and 1/4-inch ratchet if any nearby air duct or cover blocks access.
- Move any hose or intake duct gently out of the way.
- Take a quick photo before moving parts.
Step 2: Remove the bulb cover
- Use your hand or a small flat-blade screwdriver to release the rear dust cover, if equipped.
- Turn the cover counterclockwise or pull it straight off, depending on the style.
- Set the cover aside where it stays clean.
Step 3: Disconnect the old bulb
- Use your hand to unplug the bulb connector.
- If it is tight, gently wiggle the connector while pulling straight back.
- Do not pull on the wires.
Step 4: Remove the old bulb
- Use your hand to rotate the bulb counterclockwise about a quarter-turn.
- Pull the bulb straight out of the housing.
- Do not force it.

- Align the tabs on the new bulb with the slots in the housing.

- Replace bulbs in pairs so both sides match in brightness and color.
