🔧 Headlight Bulbs - Replacement
Assumption: This covers both front low-beam headlight bulbs. If you meant the high beams, the physical process is the same but the bulb type is different.
Replacing both headlight bulbs at the same time keeps light output even on both sides. On your Silverado, the headlamp assembly comes out first, then the bulb is swapped from the back of the housing.
Difficulty Level: Beginner | Estimated Time: 0.5-1 hour
⚠️ Safety & Precautions
- Turn the lights off and remove the key before starting.
- Let the bulbs cool before touching them. Hot bulbs can burn you.
- Do not touch the glass on halogen bulbs with bare fingers. Skin oil shortens bulb life.
- Use a clean glove or paper towel when installing new bulbs.
- No battery disconnect is required for this job.
