š§ Crosstour - Front Turn Signal Bulb Replacement
Youāll be replacing the front driver-side turn signal bulb inside the headlight housing. When the bulb burns out, youāll usually get a fast-blink turn signal or a warning on the dash.

- 10mm socket
- 1/4" ratchet

š Before You Begin
- Park your Crosstour on a flat surface and set the parking brake.
- Turn the steering wheel fully to the right to open up space at the driver-side fender liner.
- Have a flashlight ready; the bulb access is tight.
šØ Step-by-Step Instructions
Follow these steps in order:
Step 1: Create access through the driver-side fender liner
- Use safety glasses and nitrile gloves.
- Turn the wheel fully right (you already did this) to make room.
- Use a trim clip removal tool to pop out the plastic push clips along the front edge of the driver-side fender liner.
- If your liner uses screws/bolts, remove them with a Phillips screwdriver #2 or 10mm socket and 1/4" ratchet.
- Pull the fender liner back just enough to reach behind the headlight. Donāt force itāplastic cracks easily.
Step 2: Locate the front turn signal bulb socket
- Use a flashlight to look behind the driver-side headlight assembly.
- Find the turn signal socket (itās the socket that twists out of the headlight housing; it will have two wires going into it).
Step 3: Remove the bulb socket
- Grip the socket firmly and rotate it about 1/4 turn counterclockwise by hand (use nitrile gloves for grip), then pull it straight out.
- If itās stubborn, wiggle gently while pullingādonāt yank the wiring.
Step 4: Replace the bulb
- Pull the old bulb straight out of the socket by hand.
- Install the new front turn signal bulb (amber) into the socket by pushing it straight in until fully seated.
- Do not touch the bulb glass with bare fingers; keep nitrile gloves on. Clean with alcohol if touched.
Step 5: Reinstall the socket
- Insert the socket back into the headlight housing.
- Rotate clockwise about 1/4 turn until it locks in place (snug by hand; no tools).
Step 6: Reinstall the fender liner
- Push the fender liner back into position.
- Reinstall clips with the trim clip removal tool (push the clip body in, then press the center pin flush).
- Reinstall any screws/bolts using a Phillips screwdriver #2 or 10mm socket with a 1/4" ratchet.
ā After Repair
- Turn the ignition to ON and test the left turn signal and hazards.
- Confirm the turn signal blink rate is normal (not fast).
- Walk around and verify the bulb is amber and bright.
- If it still fast-blinks, re-check bulb seating and socket lock-in.
